William E. Stites, a native and former resident of Crawfordsville, died at 4 a.m. Thursday in Fresno, Calif. Survivors include a brother, Ernest Oppy of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Miller of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Bertha Allen of Romney, and nieces and nephews. Another sister, Mrs. Dora Blacker, is deceased. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday in Fresno. – jlr
